Thank to All who love the guitar

As the president of the Korean Guitar Association, I want to express my honor and gratitude.

August is the month in which the evergreen landscape completes, but despite the hot and humid weather, I thank everybody, who gathered for the 2nd Korea International Guitar Festival at the Hyundai Bloomvista in Yang pyeong.

There are many guitar festivals in Korea, but none that combines masterclasses, concerts, competition, ensemble performances, luthier exhibitions, etc. where amateurs and professional guitarist can come together. For this reason, the first festival was organized in 2015.

For this year, we have prepared an even more special program, including a 200-member ensemble performance, and the concert of 50 branch members. Although we still may lack experience, we ask you for your compliments and praise to make this festival a successful one.

Music is the best language to share the spirit, even better than spoken or written words. I hope you enjoy this festival, share your love and help to create a meaningful event. Finally, I especially want to thank Professor Benjamin Verdery and many other guest professors for their interest and support. And also all members, who organized, planned and prepared this festival, all directors, members of the committee and secretary of the Guitar Association.

The Korean Guitar Association always strives to keep up the original enthusiasm.
